Renthal has exclusive rights to specially developed alloy, 7010 T6 Aluminium, for the Inner tube and is hard anodised to resist wear from twist grip and controls. Outer tube is 7010 T73, which has extreme resistance to mechanical damage and is anodised to prevent corrosion.

The anodised surface finish provides an integral coating preventing corrosion. The 15 step process is carefully carried on on each bar individually.
