How to replace your clutch cable<?p>

Removing your cable
1) Loosen the lock nut on the top cable adjuster
2) Turn the adjuster all the way so the cable sheath length is minimized
This should have slackened your cable
3) Slide any covers out of the way such as dust covers
4) Align the slit in the adjuster with the clutch lever, the cable should be loose enough to be disconnected
With the cable free from the perch and lever, you can now disconnect it from the engine side
5) Loosen the cable mount so it moves freely, then turn the cable end and slide it out of the slit on the arm

Installing your new cable
1) Be sure you've routed the cable exactly as your OEM cable was fitted
2) Do the exact same as above, except do it the other way around, and start from the engine side first.
3) Use the cable adjuster to correctly set the free play
4) Check all the lock nuts, dust covers and lock nuts are properly tensioned
5) Turn the handlebars all the way, left & right to check if there is any interference with the cable
6) Assuming everything is fine, the job is done
Keep an eye out for any changes shortly after changing your cable and adjust accordingly
