MPW Track Bike: Part 4 – Fairing and Decals

The MPW track bike is starting to come along – we spent a few days getting it prepped for the May Day Run in Hastings.

Sean from MPW fitted Hel brake linesmirror blanksquick action throttle and track fairing. We still need to fill and bleed the brakes and finish off some other jobs. But it looks like a bike now!

We’ve fitted the new MPW radiator – the old one was warped. Feels good to finally be putting parts back on!

We did a good job of degreasing the bike – there was a lot of impacted grime and street goop around the front sprocket – now the bike has new lightweight Renthal sprockets and a Choho chain.

Once the fairing was on, we could start adding some of the decals we printed.

We fitted an R&G tank pad. We will also want to get some grip pads…

The track bike, as it stands, looks almost ready to race…We will hopefully be doing a few track days soon – with any luck, before the end of the year!
